Offer Design

Design the offer itself — speed, certainty, broker terms — before rewriting the copy

Install it in one line — paste a single command into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and it writes the skill into your project.

Free, and about thirty seconds: a work email and a six-digit code.

What this skill does

Better copy won't fix a weak offer. This skill designs what a lender or broker actually offers — the close-by guarantee, the broker compensation and protection, the draw turnaround promise, the repeat-borrower perks — so it stands apart from every other lender quoting similar rates.

What it does

  • Diagnoses which part of the offer is weak — outcome, likelihood, speed or effort
  • Structures the full offer: core, add-ons, guarantee, urgency, naming
  • Designs guarantees you can actually keep
  • Names the program so it is memorable
  • Flags tactics that damage trust

When to use it

  • You compete mainly on rate and keep losing on it
  • Launching a broker program or new loan product
  • Your pages convert poorly even after rewriting
  • Brokers say you look like every other lender

What to have ready

  • Your loan programs and what you do better than competitors
  • Who the offer is for — borrowers or brokers
  • What you can reliably commit to (speed, certainty, service)
  • What competitors offer

How to use it

  1. Download it with the button above. You'll sign in with a work email — that's how the creator knows who is using their skill.
  2. Copy the install prompt from the "Run it in Claude" box, and paste it into Claude along with the file. Claude installs the skill, fills in your firm's details where the file has [BRACKETED] placeholders, and runs a quick test with you.
  3. Then just ask in plain English. Claude picks the skill up on its own when a request matches it. Anything it still needs, it asks you for — it won't invent a number.

"Design a broker program offer for our [LOAN PROGRAM] that stands out from [COMPETITOR TYPE] — we can close in [DAYS] and fund draws in [DAYS]."

What you get back

A complete offer design with the reasoning behind each element and wording ready for pages and pitches.

Good to know

  • Output quality tracks input quality. A missing figure is flagged as missing — it is never estimated to fill a gap.
  • Every draft is a starting point for your own review, not a finished decision.
  • Runs anywhere Claude does: the Claude app, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code.
  • Any guarantee or speed promise must be one you honor every time, with its conditions stated plainly — never guarantee approval or a rate before underwriting. Don't use guarantees or scarcity tactics on fund investors: promising returns or pressuring investors raises securities-law problems. Much of the author's material is written for courses, services and software; adapt it to lending, and have counsel review advertised terms.

Legal disclaimer

This skill drafts; it does not decide. Its output is not legal, tax, accounting, appraisal, or investment advice, and using it creates no attorney-client, fiduciary, or advisory relationship. Nothing it produces is a commitment to lend or an offer to sell a security. Verify every number, date, citation, and conclusion against the source documents, and have a qualified professional licensed in the relevant jurisdiction review the work before you rely on it or send it to a borrower, investor, counterparty, or regulator. Laws, rates, and market data change. The final work product is yours.

Skill name
offer-design
What it does
When the user wants to design, construct, or improve an offer — the thing they actually sell — including value framing, bonus stacking, guarantee design, scarcity/urgency, naming, and payment structure. Also use when the user mentions 'offer,' 'offer design,' 'build an offer,' 'grand slam offer,' 'irresistible offer,' 'value stack,' 'bonus stack,' 'guarantee,' 'risk reversal,' 'money-back guarantee,' 'scarcity,' 'urgency,' 'high-ticket offer,' 'productize a service,' 'naming an offer,' 'payment plan,' 'down-sell,' 'upsell offer,' or 'why isn't my offer converting.' Best for services, agencies, courses, coaching, info products, high-ticket B2B, and direct-response. If you run pure self-serve SaaS, read pricing first — tiers and packaging do more work there. For price level itself (tiers, freemium, value metric), see pricing. For the page that presents the offer, see copywriting. For the launch moment, see launch. For sales collateral, see sales-enablement.

Changes made by LenderSkills: None to the skill text. The upstream references/ folder
(bonus-stacking.md, examples.md, guarantee-design.md, offer-anatomy.md, offer-formats.md, saas-offers.md, scarcity-urgency.md, value-equation.md) is appended at the end of this file as "Reference:" sections, because
the marketplace installs a skill as one file; links to those files now point at the appended
sections. Published as "offer-design" (upstream "offers") so the name reads clearly in a lending catalogue. Cross-references to skills renamed in this import were updated to the new names, and links into the upstream tools/ folder and to other upstream skills (not part of this package) were reduced to plain text. Evals were not included. A legal disclaimer is appended at the end of the file.
Otherwise the author's content is unmodified.
