Analytics Tracking
Set up GA4, Tag Manager and UTMs so you know which marketing brings in loan requests

Install it in one line — paste a single command into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and it writes the skill into your project.
Free, and about thirty seconds: a work email and a six-digit code.
Downloading shares your name, firm, role, and email with Corey Haines. That introduction is what keeps every skill here free.
What this skill does
Most lender websites count visits but not the thing that matters — a completed loan request or broker submission. This skill designs a tracking plan for a lending site: which events to record, how to tag links in emails and ads, and how to set up Google Analytics 4 and Tag Manager so the numbers can be trusted.
What it does
- Writes a tracking plan: the events, their names and what each one means
- Sets up GA4 and Google Tag Manager step by step
- Builds a UTM naming convention for emails, ads and broker campaigns
- Audits an existing setup for double-counting and missing conversions
- Includes a ready event library to adapt
When to use it
- You cannot say where last month's loan applications came from
- Launching a new site or application form
- Starting paid ads and needing conversions to track
- Your analytics numbers don't match your pipeline
What to have ready
- Your website and the forms or pages that matter (apply, contact, submit a deal)
- Which tools you use — GA4, Tag Manager, CRM, email platform
- The channels you market through
- Access to the current setup, if auditing
How to use it
- Download it with the button above. You'll sign in with a work email — that's how the creator knows who is using their skill.
- Copy the install prompt from the "Run it in Claude" box, and paste it into Claude along with the file. Claude installs the skill, fills in your firm's details where the file has
[BRACKETED]placeholders, and runs a quick test with you. - Then just ask in plain English. Claude picks the skill up on its own when a request matches it. Anything it still needs, it asks you for — it won't invent a number.
"Build a tracking plan for [OUR WEBSITE] so we can see which channel produces [LOAN PROGRAM] applications — we use [CRM] and [EMAIL TOOL]."
What you get back
A tracking plan with event names and properties, setup steps for GA4 and Tag Manager, and a UTM convention your team can follow.
Good to know
- Output quality tracks input quality. A missing figure is flagged as missing — it is never estimated to fill a gap.
- Every draft is a starting point for your own review, not a finished decision.
- Runs anywhere Claude does: the Claude app, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code.
- Keep borrower personal and financial details — names, emails, SSNs, loan amounts, property addresses — out of analytics and ad pixels — be careful with pixels on loan-application pages, which can pass what applicants type to the ad platform — and disclose tracking in your privacy policy. Confirm with counsel which privacy laws apply to your firm.
